What is OLAPLEX?
OLAPLEX is a
salon treatment that is ‘The Original Bond Builder”. This basically means that when our hair gets damaged the bonds of our hair are broken and damaged too. OLAPLEX allows you to restore damaged hair to its former glory, or you can add it to another service (such as a colour) meaning your hair is less likely to get damaged in the process!
What does it do?
All hair over time becomes damaged and weakened due to a number of different factors, whether this be: your environment, your hair-care lifestyle or just age. The structural features of your hair, the bonds, are weakened and damaged meaning your overall hair is too. OLAPLEX works to repair, protect and strengthen your hair with its patented active ingredient (Bis-Aminolpropyl Diglycol Dimaleate). Basically, this means it’s the only hair treatment of its kind!
Salon Treatment at Kids Hair Play
Although you can buy some OLAPLEX treatments for home, OLAPLEX No.1 and No.2 are exclusive for salon professionals, meaning you can’t do it yourself.
OLAPLEX No.1
This is the first step of the treatment we offer which rebuilds your broken bonds and starts the process of preventing damage due to any future treatments too. This is a concentrated treatment which is why it must be applied by us at the salon!
OLAPLEX No. 2
The second step continues this process of rebuilding and restoring, this time seeking out any remaining broken bonds, helping to ensure your hair is at the healthiest it can be! No.2 comes in a cream form which will be left on your hair for at least 10 minutes so that you can get all the added benefits of this treatment!
