They are a unique children and teens salon catering to both Boys and Girls in addition to some adult experiences for parents/guardians.

About the Company
They started in Sutton Coldfield in 2019 and are expanding into new areas with their third salon sitting on the busy Chapel Ash in Wolverhampton.
They are a salon designed exclusively for young people, from babies to teens. Their child-friendly environment takes the stress out of haircuts and instead turns them from a chore into a fun experience.
Being child-centred means not only having play areas, toys, games, entertainment, and specially themed chairs, but they also want all their clients to feel safe and special - from the moment they walk through their doors until they leave looking forward to their next visit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide hair cutting, shampooing, and styling services specifically tailored to children's needs and preferences, considering factors like age, hair type, and parental preferences
• Communicate effectively with both children and their parents to understand their needs and preferences, making the experience enjoyable for the child
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitised and safe for use on children. This might include using scissors with rounded tips or other safety features designed for children
• Utilise strategies to keep children calm and cooperative during the haircut or styling process. This could involve using toys, videos, or other distractions
• Recommending and selling child-friendly hair care products, understanding the ingredients, and how they specifically cater to children's sensitive skin and hair
• Keeping up with the latest children's hair trends and continuing education to learn new techniques and styles suitable for children
• Being trained to handle children with special needs, understanding their unique requirements, and providing a comfortable experience for them
• Managing appointments efficiently, understanding that children may have limited patience, and ensuring that services are provided in a timely manner
Required Skills:
• Ability to communicate with children at their level, understanding their needs, and making them feel comfortable
• Children can be restless or scared, especially if it's their first haircut. Having patience and a calm demeanour is essential
• Being able to create fun and age-appropriate hairstyles that appeal to both children and their parents
• Ability to interact with parents, understand their preferences and provide a satisfactory service that meets their expectations
• Strong fundamental hair-cutting and styling skills tailored to children's hair types and trends
• Ability to adapt to unexpected situations, such as a child's sudden movement or change in mood, without compromising on quality or safety
• Having empathy for children who might be nervous or scared and handling them with gentle care
